Item. Year and day as above. The sworn witness Amada, wife of Peire de Gozens, said that she saw in the home of the witness' husband, Dulcia, mother-in-law of the witness, and Bernarda, niece of Dulcia, heretics, living openly. She stayed with the aforesaid heretics for a good 5 years, and she adored them many times. Afterwards, the witness' husband Peire de Gozens, son of the aforesaid Dulcia, threw the aforesaid heretics out of the house. One night sometime later the aforesaid heretics secretly returned to the witness' house and were captured. This was about 17 years ago. She did not see heretics anywhere else except as prisoners, nor ever believed them, nor adored, nor listened to their preaching, nor gave or sent [them anything], nor led them.
