Item. Year and day as above. The sworn witness Guilhem de Canast said that he saw Bertrand Marti and his companion, heretics, in the house of Guilhem de Saint-Nazare, and he saw there with them Pons Mir, Peire Amielh, Sauram, wife of Guiraldi Dadalo who died at Lafage, Raimunda, wife of Guilhem de Saint-Nazare, Cerdana, wife of Mir de Lalanda, and Aymersend, wife of Bernard Mir Acezat, who sent the witness to the aforesaid heretics and sent them a vessel full of chestnuts via the witness. But he did not adore them nor saw adoring. This was about 16 years ago. He did not see heretics anywhere else, nor adored, nor gave or sent them anything, nor listened to their preaching. He denied the truth of the aforesaid to the inquisitors at Castelnaudary. He abjured heresy and swore, etc. Witnesses: as stated before.
