In prison.Item. Year and day as above. The sworn witness Peire Folc said that he saw in the home of Ysarn de Gibel Bertrand Marti and his companion, heretics, and he saw there with them Ysarn de Gibel himself, Raimund de Lera, Peire de Comas, W. Forz, and many others whom he did not recall. But he did not adore nor saw adoring. This was about 12 years ago.

Item. He saw in the home of Guilhem Saint-Nazare two heretics he did not know and he saw there Raimunda, wife of the aforesaid Guilhem Saint-Nazare, Guilhem de Gozens, Mossa, and Aceylina, maid of the house. The witness and everyone else adored the aforesaid heretics there, bending at the knee three times saying, "Bless us good men, pray to God for us." This was about 4 years ago.

Item. He said that he, Bernard Alzeu, and Arnald Andree met Arnald Prader and his companion, heretics, next to a meadow called de Trebolh and they accompanied them beyond Fesquel River. But he did not adore nor saw adoring. This was about 2 years ago.

He believed the heretics to be good men, to have good faith, to be friends of God and true, even though he knew that the Church persecuted them. But he did not hear them say that God did not create visible things. He did hear them say that matrimony was worth nothing for salvation and that the bodies of the dead do not rise. He did not hear them speak of the holy host nor of baptism. He first believed in them 12 years ago and stopped believing after making his confession of heresy to brother Ferrier at Limoux about one and half years ago. He also confessed to the brothers Guilhem Arnald and Esteve, inquisitors, at Castelnaudary, and he did not tell the them the truth as he and everyone else agreed to not tell the truth to the inquisitors. He recognized that he did a wicked thing as after he abjured heresy and swore and promised to persecute heretics, he saw, hid, believed and adored heretics. He abjured heresy and swore, etc. Witnesses: as stated before.
